Veteran Suicide Awareness Hero Workout
According to the most recent report published by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in 2016, which analyzed 55 million veterans’ records from 1979 to 2014, the current analysis indicates that an average of 20 veterans die from suicide per day.
Close friend of CFR member Chrisy Cook, Sargent Dennis Dewayne Jolley in the US Army committed suicide November 6, 2013 after a tough fight with PTSD. He was 28 years old, and had been deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq, serving a total of 8 years in the US Army, leaving behind his daughter Alysa.
Please join us as we honor his life, his sacrifice made for us, and also bring awareness to this devastating fight with PTSD that so many of our Veterans struggle with daily.
