NEW MONTHLY CAUSE! – W.O.D. Monday 7/2/18

Our next monthly cause!

This July, we are excited to partner with H2OpenDoors again to provide safe drinking water to people in need.

Every check-in this month will provide 50 gallons of safe water to someone in need. The hashtag this month is #givewater.

H2OpenDoors is a program of Rotary clubs around the world with a long term goal of providing access to clean, safe drinking water for one million people throughout developing nations. The team of volunteers at H2OpenDoors travel to areas of the world most in need of clean water and install a SunSpring water filtration system that will provide safe drinking water for 10,000 people every day for 10 years.

Conditioning WOD – 35 min cap

Buy In: 400m Med ball run 30/20

6 Rounds:
12 Chest to Bar Pull-ups
9 Power Snatch 135/95
6 Overhead Squats 135/95

Buy Out: 400m Overhead Med Ball Run 30/20

*On buy out,  if medball touches head or comes below your head, you must stop and cannot resume’ until ball is back overhead (you may scale by just carrying ball if you desire, but challenge yourself)

*Scale chest to bar pullups with pullups, jumping pullups, banded pullups or barbell pullups

*On overhead squats, two variations based on ability level.  Either go with a lighter snatch weight so you can achieve the overhead squats using one bar OR go heavier and then grab a pvc or lighter bar (if equipment is available) and go back and forth

*Medball may be a wall ball OR slam ball.  Your choice.
